It was good to be home and we were soon entertaining friends in the village who had arrived for the new year break. We saw in the New Year together.
On Sunday, 3rd, we were at a Hogmanay party given by our friends in Paihes, Frances and Bryan. It was mild enough to to sit outside for a while and we passed the afternoon chating to old friends.
Today was market day in the village, and so there was lots of 'Bonne Année, bonne santé' everywhere.
Soon we will be off to L'Escala for our first visit of the year and then, towards the end of January, to the Canary Islands for 2+ weeks.
